For starters Password last set attribute will get updated only when the computer accounts reset its own password. If the computer is not active for let's say 3 months and when the computer connects to the domain computer accounts password will get reset.
To conclude Password Last Set attribute will be updated only when the computer accounts password is changed. I would recommend you to generate the account with Last logon and password last set attribute and compare the results before taking a decision.
